Colonial Dress
Staff member, Judy McNulty, supplied this picture of a dress her mother made for her to wear during the Bicentennial in 1776. She hopes to make it available for the library's celebration of the Franklin exhibition.
The Niles-Maine District Library is located in the "All-America" City of Niles, Illinois and is a member of the RAILS (Reaching Across Illinois Library System), the successor of NSLS. The library serves more than 57,000 residents in Niles and parts of unincorporated Des Plaines and Glenview. In 2013 the library underwent a major interior renovation. Its success was celebrated in a Grand Opening Weekend on February 1 and 2, 2014
